Description: Watering horses of 1st Field Artillery Brigade in the Forêt de la Reine, just north of Boucq, with considerable military traffic congestion. Men of 18th Infantry Regiment advancing in 'artillery formation' (ie very dispersed) across open fields. Limbers ('caissons' in American usage) of 6th Field Artillery moving past the ruins of Seicheprey, and men of 'C' Battery under Captain I R McLendon digging emplacements for their 75mm guns near Mont Sec. 'D' Battery, 7th Field Artillery, in action. American soldiers flush three Germans from a dugout (acted ?). The first German prisoners captured in the Battle of Saint Mihiel being marched away, 7am 12th September (?). Other German prisoners on the Beaumont-Seicheprey road on 9th September. Men of 1st Ambulance Company under Captain E F Fisher at the advanced dressing station at Richecourt. 'C' Company, 1st Engineers, repairing a wooden bridge with guns of 5th Field Artillery behind them. Batteries of 6th Field Artillery cross a bridge built by 1st Engineers over the trenches. Men of 1st Division moving up between Seicheprey and Saint Baussant. The ruins of Saint Baussant filmed through a shellhole in a wall.
